How to Use Delegate Access in Godaddy

At times you need to give someone access to your Godaddy account.  Here is a short tutorial on how to give someone access to your Godaddy account without giving them a user name and password.

What is Delegate Access

Giving someone delegate accesss is a simple way to give your webmaster or employee access to your Godaddy account without having to reveal your user name and password.  

Is it safe to give someone access to my GoDaddy account?

Yes, it is safe to give someone “delegate” access to your GoDaddy account. This means you can upgrade, downgrade, or even revoke a person’s access to your account at any time.

Steps to providing delegate access

  1. Login to Godaddy account and go to ACCOUNT SETTINGS

  2. Click DELEGATE ACCESS



  3. You now will be given the option to INVITE TO ACCESS



  4. Enter their
    1. Name
    2. Email
    3. Level of Access

Then Hit the INVITE BUTTON

They will have 48 hours to accept
